The fullness depends on your personal style:
Undercut: 5–10 locs (1–2 bundles)
Partial: 5–20 locs (1–4 bundles)
Half head shaved: 20–35 locs (4–7 bundles)
Full head w/ small undercut or bangs left out: 40–45 locs (8–9 bundles)
Full head: 45–60 locs (9–12 bundles)
💡 New to locs? For a full head, start with 45 DE so your scalp can adjust to the braids and weight.
Double Ended locs count as two, so 40 DE = 80 installed locs.
